Wendell Berry talks about the dangers of having no limit to things in the world. He argues that we, people who live on this earth, are damaging our planet because we are taking advantage of our resources on the earth. He describes how greedy people are and careless of their environment. When it comes to resources, the green monster (greed) comes out and people forget about the values and morals of life.
In order for Wendell Berry to get his point across to his readers, he uses plays and events that are happening in the world to support his claims about people and them being greedy, selfish and careless.
